Image the RoboRIO (USB, roboRIO 1.x)
Use the FRC roboRIO Imaging Tool from the FRC Game Tools to image a roboRIO 1.x over USB.
1 Requirements
- FRC Game Tools installed
- Powered RoboRIO (12 V) and a USB‑A → USB‑B cable (no hub)
- Windows 10/11 laptop
2 Imaging Procedure
- Connect USB from laptop → RIO USB Device. Wait for drivers.
- Launch roboRIO Imaging Tool (
Start → NI → roboRIO Imaging Tool). - Select your RIO → Format Target.
- Enter Team Number = 5847.
- Choose the latest image → Reformat.
Ironclad Standard
Image RIO 1.x via USB. Use SD imaging for RIO 2.0.
3 Verification
