What is FRC?

The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a global high-school robotics program that combines engineering, coding, teamwork, and competition.
Each season, teams design and build a fully functional robot to play a themed game announced in January.

Core Values

FRC isn’t just about building robots — it’s about building people.

  • Gracious Professionalism – Compete hard, but respect others.
  • Coopertition – Help your competitors; everyone learns and grows.
  • STEM in Action – Students take on real-world engineering challenges.

The Game

Each year, FRC introduces a new game with unique field elements and scoring challenges.
Robots are autonomous for 15 seconds, then driver-controlled for the remaining 2 minutes and 15 seconds.
